So I had an epiphany today! (Don't even ask me how many tries it took me to figure out how to spell that word..smh) Anyway..lately I've had these days where I just feel kind of lost. So much in my life is changing, which I guess is supposed to happen in your 20's. I'm at this weird stage where some of my friends are still in school, some never went, some are getting married, some are having kids, some are killing it in their careers, and some are just killing it at life in general. In some ways I feel left out, like I messed up along the way and my life isn't going how I planned, and everyone else is getting everything they wanted. They all seem so happy, like all their lives are falling into place and I'm just waiting; waiting for the right guy, the right job, the right city, or just the right feeling. It's times like these where I am so thankful for S & Company! It's this amazing little baby of mine that I care about more than anything right now. It's what I want to do every second of every day! It's what makes me feel better when I'm sad and ecstatic when I'm already happy. It's the only thing that makes me think I'm doing something right in my life.
Today I decided this is the time in my life where I need to work my ass off! I need to do whatever I can to make myself better and make my store better. I need to push now so I can feel the success later! This is the time where some people are supposed to be falling in love and getting married, but for me, it's not that time yet. This is the time where I am going to soar in my endeavors. So it's goodbye sleep and social life and hello to harder workouts and endless hours at both jobs.
Well there ya go, more personal than I've ever gotten on the blog! Let's get down to outfit details. I chose to wear this new simple black turtle neck dress from S & Company. It's so lightweight and it's the perfect fit! You can wear it by itself for a simple, classic look, or pair it with a cute jacket! I paired this lovely little number with an old flannel of my dad's. I wanted to make the look a little more casual and plus I just love wearing flannels when it's foggy and chilly outside!
